Handpainted Yarn = Special Scarves

Last week I bought this lovely handpainted rayon boucle yarn from KatsaraYarns on Etsy.

It seemed like it would make a nice addition to some scarves. When I got it, I didn't wait to find out.
Within a week I have woven two scarves using this yarn. First I mixed it with three other variegated yarns in purples and pinks and a burgundy chenille at random in the scarf on the left. Then, in the scarf on the right, I ran it alongside a solid colored blue bamboo yarn.
Two very different looks!

I think I may have to keep this one for myself!

What would you do with a yarn like this?
Have a look at the other lovely things that textile artist, Andria Senini makes in her Etsy shop or on her website.
