In my profile, I mentioned that one of my very favorite yarns is made from recycled sari silk.
Here are some detail photos of 2 blue guitar straps, combining the multi-colored sari silk yarn with solid blue cotton yarns. The top one, shown in progress on the loom, went off to a benefit silent auction last week. I really liked it, but it wasn't around long for me to admire. The bottom one is currently for sale in my Etsy shop. (My page banner is derived from this photo.)
