Chevrons Hot Off The Loom

In the last several days I have learned SO much about using my computer, doing a blog, scanning in photos, etc. It's almost like I have a new hobby!
Just to make sure I remembered why I started all this (to document my weaving), I decided I'd better weave something.


This wool strap is made using a pick and drop pattern on a speckled background. Both sides are shown in the photo. (Hard to tell, because they are both the same.)
It will probably be used by some Mountain Man as a powder horn strap, like the one Bob has in the next photo. This photo was taken at a Sutter's Fort Traders' Faire.
