The Harder I Work, The Luckier I Get!

I like this phrase. Today I was thinking how lucky I have been with my weaving stuff.
Here's a photo of my guitar strap at the county fair. It won 1st prize, best of section, and best of show in the Handwoven and Handspun division. My cassette tape belt won 1st prize and my scarf, 3rd prize.

Then I got a letter saying that I have been accepted into the Carmel Homecrafters' Marketplace, for which I juried last week.
And I just made two Etsy sales in the last two days!
Wow! Lucky, huh? Then I started thinking how hard I have been working to get my weaving out there into the world. My hard work is paying off! Hooray!

  1. Hey Annie, It sure is nice to get such wonderful acknowledgement from the world, right? But I mostly enjoy how you acknowledge yourself for showing up, making fine effort and sticking to it, because that will mean you will continue. (And some of it will get easier through repetition.)
