Announcing....

I have been adding stuff to my blog. Have you noticed the tabs across the top of the page?
If you click on Upcoming Events you can find out where I will be weaving next.
I am especially excited to be teaching an Inkle Weaving workshop at the Espanola Valley Fiber Arts Center in Espanola, New Mexico on July 31.

The Uses for a Band tab will suggest what to do with your narrow piece, now that you have finished it.
And the Resources tab has a list with links to tutorials, videos, PDF's and great websites that will inform, inspire and amaze you with what can be done on an inkle loom. I previewed many more, but included the ones which I felt were the best and most relevant. If you would like to suggest anything for me to add here, let me know.

This week I have been honored by fellow Etsy Sellers.
One of my guitar straps is included in this wonderfully colorful Etsy Treasury:
Summertime Tie-Dye
And another strap was featured on this blog:
She's Crafty!

And here is a peek at some of the guitar straps
I have been working on this past week.

  3. I love the pattern in the middle on the bottom band. My pattern bands are all about the pattern. That one is a subtle feature.

  4. That one on the loom is really gorgeous, but they all are! Like the new features.

  6. Love that "uses for a band" tab — I'll have to think about that very topic a lot more soon, since I've started inkle weaving finally. ;)

Oh, out of curiosity, and since I forgot to ask in my comment-in-reply-to-your-comment on my blog, how did you find my blog, anyway?

  7. Silver- I have a "Google Alert" set to inkle weaving. It sends me e-mail messages when anything having to do with inkle weaving comes up on the web.
Since no one in my neighborhood is really into inkle weaving as a main focus, I am always looking for other inkle weavers out there in the larger world. I hope that you will keep in touch. I would love to see what you make on your new loom.
