Last week, I mailed off another custom piece. This wool sash is 2" wide and 9' long. The happy new owner wrote me a letter to tell me that he thinks "the sash is wonderful".Although he picked the colors and patterns based on something else I had at the Rendezvous, I sort of held my breath until I heard from him. I never know for sure if I am going to translate someone else's vision to their satisfaction. Can I really imagine and create what they have already imagined? Tricky business, but very satisfying when it works!
