This might just be the coolest guitar strap that I have ever woven!Just look at the yarn that it came from. It is a silk from Fiesta Yarns that I bought in their outlet store in Albuquerque last fall. I mixed it with a few strands of some solid color cotton yarns.
Even though I don't own a guitar, I want to keep this strap. Silly, right?
Well, there is some left, maybe I should just weave myself a scarf.
Breathtaking. What an inspiration to inkle with yarns I might have otherwise thought unsuitable for the purpose. Your work, your constant searching and experimenting within what we think of as narrow confines (the inkle weaving craft) is so exciting. Thank you for sharing it in this eloquent blog.
