London Fashion- Alexander Jules Rouach

Back in June of this year, I told the story in this blog post of this menswear design student who I worked with to create some woven neck pieces for his graduate fashion show. As he continues working on his promotions, he has kept me in the loop.
Recently, he was interviewed here on the fashion blog, 1Granary,  by his classmates at Central Saint Martins University of the Arts, London. In the interview, he explains the context for the collection as "The pieces took inspiration from the jazz age, with stiff collars, bi-tonal brogues, and briefcases lit up with neon trim."   The neckpiece was designed to follow the form of a saxophone strap. This is really rewarding to see my pieces in the photos.

And in this video! Most of it is shot in dark lighting and there are a few pops of color, including the bright blue and pink neckpiece on one of the musicians. You can see it best as he takes a drink from the can.
