My inkle loom uses string heddles to divide the threads into 2 layers. Threads on one layer go through string heddles while threads on the other layer do not go through heddles, therefore they are in the "open". The way you worded your question, it sounds to me like you are using a rigid heddle with your backstrap setup, is that right? If so, you will thread one layer through the holes and the other layer will go through the slots. It doesn't matter which is which; the pattern will come out the same either way. <br />Have fun!Annie MacHalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12664018382440495900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4842874878197429929.post-61699355930349207422024-03-14T12:41:20.779-07:002024-03-14T12:41:20.779-07:00Can I use these patterns on a back strap loom? Even when I loosen the tension, the warp won’t really move forward without a lot of pulling, so that the piece already woven goes out of shape etc. It seems that the heddles are not allowing the warp threads to move through them. I used linen thread for the heddles. Just wondering if you found a solution to the problem and if so, what it is! Thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4842874878197429929.post-49003871259051289152023-10-31T19:22:19.274-07:002023-10-31T19:22:19.274-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Slot Garansi Kekalahan 100 Bebas IPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18219017287689835184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4842874878197429929.post-56472846520388458402023-10-21T11:15:47.691-07:002023-10-21T11:15:47.691-07:00Mine are made and sold by Schacht Spindle Company ...Mine are made and sold by Schacht Spindle Company in the U.S. <br />If you are in France, I recommend that you contact Jeff Bigot through this website.
